One thing most people don't know about me: I am the British University silver medal holder for rifle shooting (so don't mess with me!)​

People who inspire me: Young adults with a thirst for knowledge, Ruth and Esther from the Bible, and my friend Alison, friends that stick with you through thick and thin.

What makes me laugh: watching a kitten chase birds on the TV, Bob Hope and Bing Crosby's 'Road' movies.

I moved to Tenerife in 2002 feeling certain that God had sent me and I haven't looked back! I am a Deacon and look after the church finances and when not seen with a receipt book or a calculator in my hand, I love reading, listening to music, singing and looking after the pots on my terrace. Until recently I was Head of Sixth Form at the local English-speaking International School. I’m now retired from the above activities and have a bucket list of places I want to visit including St. Petersburg, but for now, I am centering on getting to know all the Canary Islands.
